Classification

Purpose

  • Rutile-coated variant of the FERVEO HRF 600 family (55-59 HRC), weldable with an AC transformer.
  • Ductile, crack-resistant deposit.

Why it works

Same hardness level and chemistry as HRF 600, but with a rutile coating instead of basic — it strikes and holds the arc on alternating current, and the deposit is more ductile and crack-resistant than an equivalent basic coating.

Fields of application

  • Final surfacing pass on equipment under abrasion, in shops with AC equipment.
  • Parts where a more ductile deposit than standard HRF 600 is useful: bucket teeth and edges, guide springs, impact drilling and crushing tools.

Equivalence refers to the classification (AWS / EN ISO), not to product identity. In applications with a qualified procedure (WPS), validate the substitution before use.

Advantages

  • Weldable on DC+ or AC.
  • Ductile, crack-resistant deposit.
