Purpose
- Cr-Si solid MIG/MAG wire, high hardness (59 HRC) for parts under severe abrasion.
Why it works
9.2% Cr + 3% Si gives noticeably higher hardness than HRF 500 MIG within the same solid-wire family — on crack-sensitive base steels, laying a softer buffer layer first is recommended.
Fields of application
- Agricultural equipment parts.
- Grabber edges and dredging bucket edges under severe abrasion.

Advantages
- High hardness (59 HRC).
- Weldable on MIG/MAG and TIG.
Limitations
- Crack-sensitive base metals need a buffer layer first.
