Material no. (W.-Nr.)1.4519

Purpose

  • TIG rod version of the super-austenitic INX 385 wire — same cryogenic -196°C service and corrosion resistance to 350°C.

Why it works

Same alloy as INX 385 MIG, as a TIG rod (DC-, I1 gas) — fine puddle control for root passes on high corrosion-demand equipment.

Fields of application

  • DIN 1.4500, 1.4505, 1.4506, 1.4536, 1.4539 (super-austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo-Cu steel).
  • Joining these steels to unalloyed or low-alloy steel.
