Purpose
- Cr-Ni-Mo metal-cored flux-cored wire for joining corrosion-resistant stainless steel, nearly spatter-free.
Why it works
Same Cr-Ni-Mo 18.5/12.5/2.6 base as the rest of the 316L family, in metal-cored form — high intergranular corrosion resistance to 400°C, scaling-resistant to 800°C, with residual slag very easy to dissolve.
Fields of application
- Joining of corrosion-resistant Cr-Ni-Mo stainless steel (DIN 1.4404, 1.4429, 1.4435, 1.4436, 1.4571, 1.4573, 1.4580, 1.4581 — AISI 316/316L/316Ti).
