Purpose
- TIG rod version of the Cr-Ni 25.5/20.5 INX 310 wire — same 1150°C service and ductile filling-layer role under harder overlays.
Why it works
Same alloy as INX 310 MIG, as a TIG rod (DC-, I1 gas) — fine puddle control for root passes and filling layers before a harder final overlay (e.g. FERVEO INX 312).
Fields of application
- Joining and surfacing of heat-resistant steel and equivalent castings.
- Ductile filling layer under harder top layers.
