Purpose
- Cr17.5 ferritic solid wire, for joining ferritic steel/castings and surfacing high-strength unalloyed or low-alloy steel — scaling-resistant to 950°C.
Why it works
The wire version of 17% Cr ferritic steel — corrosion and scaling resistant in air and oxidizing combustion gases to 950°C, with continuous service to 475°C.
Fields of application
- DIN 1.4057, 1.4059, 1.4740, 1.4742 (ferritic steels).
