Purpose
- High-strength martensitic Cr-Ni-Mo 13.5/4.5/0.5 solid wire, resistant to corrosion and hydraulic cavitation — for hydraulic turbines, valve bodies and pump housings.
Why it works
Nickel (4.5%) gives good low-temperature toughness without losing the high mechanical strength typical of 13% Cr martensitic steel — built specifically for cast or forged hydraulic parts, where cavitation is a common wear mode.
Fields of application
- Hydraulic turbines, valve bodies, pump housings, in cast or forged 13Cr-4Ni alloy form.
