Purpose
- TIG rod version of the Cr-Ni 22/12 INX 309H wire — same 950°C service joining and surfacing heat-resistant steel.
Why it works
Same alloy as INX 309H MIG, as a TIG rod (DC-, I1 gas) — fine puddle control for root passes and continuously hot-running parts.

Advantages
- Service up to 950°C.
- Controlled TIG arc — suited to root passes.
Limitations
- Intended for continuous high-temperature service; if the part cools after prolonged exposure at 600–900°C, room-temperature toughness may drop due to sigma-phase formation.
