Purpose
- Cr-Ni 22/12 solid wire for joining and surfacing heat-resistant steel and equivalent castings, up to 950°C.
Why it works
The wire version (MIG/MAG, also TIG) of the 309H class — the 950°C service range is notably higher than INX 309LSi (300°C), built specifically for parts that run hot continuously.
Fields of application
- Joining and surfacing of heat-resistant steel and equivalent or comparable castings.

Advantages
- Service up to 950°C.
- Weldable in MIG/MAG and also in TIG.
Limitations
- Intended for continuous high-temperature service; if the part cools after prolonged exposure at 600–900°C, room-temperature toughness may drop due to sigma-phase formation.
