Purpose
- Cobalt-based flux-cored wire, Stellite type 6, 40–43 HRC — the all-round Stellite — for corrosion, abrasion, impact and thermal shock.
Why it works
A cobalt-based alloy with an austenitic-ledeburitic structure containing chromium and tungsten carbides (Stellite 6 type), the all-round reference: resists high corrosion and abrasion, high impact stress and extreme temperature shocks. The deposit is machinable with carbide tooling. Requires M13 gas.
