Purpose
- Metal-rutile flux-cored wire with high fill rate and deep penetration (AWS E 70 T-9 C J H 8, EN ISO T 42 4 R C3 H10), with CO2 shielding.
Why it works
The metal-rutile character gives a high fill rate with deep penetration and excellent low-temperature impact toughness — built for flat and horizontal-fillet welding where deposition speed is the priority.
Fields of application
- Production welding in flat and horizontal-fillet position, with low-temperature toughness requirements.

Advantages
- High fill rate with deep penetration — more productivity in flat and horizontal-fillet position.
- Excellent low-temperature toughness for a flux-cored wire at this fill rate.
Limitations
- Restricted to flat and horizontal-fillet position — for all positions, see FERVEO STL 480 C/M HC FCW.
