Purpose

  • Mo-alloyed cellulosic electrode for high-strength low-alloy steel pipeline (AWS E 8010-G, EN ISO E Z 46 3 Mo C 21), suited to sour-gas service.

Why it works

Combines FERVEO STL 420C2's Mo alloying with an additional mechanical-strength step, for pipeline joining in all positions with particular suitability vertical-down.

Fields of application

  • Joining of high-strength low-alloy steel gas and oil pipeline, with sour-gas service applications (HIC test per NACE TM-0284).
