Purpose

  • Nickel-alloyed cellulosic electrode, same strength step as FERVEO STL 460C3 Mo via a different alloying route (AWS E 8010-P1, EN ISO E 46 3 1 Ni C 21).

Why it works

Nickel alloying instead of molybdenum reaches the same mechanical-strength step as FERVEO STL 460C3 Mo, with the same deep vertical-down penetration and sour-gas suitability.

Fields of application

  • Joining of high-strength low-alloy steel gas and oil pipeline, with sour-gas service applications.
