Purpose

  • Low-hydrogen basic electrode with toughness certified at a more demanding temperature than the B4 range (AWS E 7018-1 H4, EN ISO E 42 5 B 42 H5).

Why it works

Same mechanical-strength step as FERVEO STL 420B4 HD P2, with toughness certified at a lower temperature — the EN ISO "5" designation versus "4" reflects that more demanding test.

  • General carbon-steel fabrication requiring low-temperature toughness, at the same strength step as the FERVEO STL 420B4 range.
