Purpose
- Cr 11.5–13.5/0.6 Mo solid wire, for joining ferritic/martensitic Cr steel and surfacing high-strength unalloyed or low-alloy steel.
Why it works
The wire version of 13% Cr steel — corrosion resistance equivalent to 13% Cr steels, service to 450°C, specifically used for surfacing gas valves and fittings.
Fields of application
- DIN 1.4000, 1.4001, 1.4002, 1.4003, 1.4006, 1.4008, 1.4021, 1.4024 (ferritic/martensitic Cr steels).
- Surfacing of gas valves and fittings.
