Purpose
- Basic-coated variant of INX 347 — high ductility, good out-of-position weldability and cold ductility to -196°C, no preheat or post-weld heat treatment.
Why it works
Same niobium-stabilized Cr-Ni core as the rutile variant, basic-coated — same behavior as INX 316L B/318 B (high ductility, heavy sections), with cold ductility down to -196°C.
Fields of application
- AISI 347, 321, 304, 304LN, 302 and 13% Cr ferritic steels, including equivalent castings (ASTM A296 Gr. CF8C).
- Heavy sections and out-of-position work.
