Purpose

  • Low-carbon Cr-Ni-Mo 18.5/12.5/2.6 solid wire for joining and surfacing corrosion-resistant austenitic steel, tough down to cryogenic temperature.

Why it works

The wire version of the 316L family — low carbon to avoid sensitization, service from cryogenic (-196°C) up to +400°C, on the same DIN 1.4401/1.4404/1.4571/1.4580/1.4583 steels (AISI 316/316L/316Ti equivalents).

  • DIN 1.4401, 1.4404, 1.4571, 1.4580, 1.4583 (AISI 316/316L/316Ti).
  • Cryogenic service down to -196°C.
