Purpose
- TIG variant of the super-austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo-Cu INX 28 wire/rod — same resistance to hot sulfuric and phosphoric acid.
Why it works
Same alloy as INX 28 MIG, in rod form for TIG (I1 gas) — fine weld-pool control for root passes and thin sections in super-austenitic stainless applications.
Fields of application
- Super-austenitic stainless steel and equivalents: DIN 1.4563, AISI 383-type applications.

Advantages
- Excellent resistance to hot sulfuric and phosphoric acid.
- Copper addition for improved behavior in concentrated acidic media.
Limitations
- Very low carbon (max 0.025%) — demands good weld-pool cleanliness.
- Specific use for acidic environments.
