Purpose
- Solid MIG/MAG wire for medium-high hardness surfacing (≈370 HB), also weldable on TIG — one step harder than HRF 250 MIG.
Why it works
Same principle as HRF 250 MIG but with more chromium (6% versus 3%) — raises hardness to ≈370 HB for rolling and toothed parts under heavier wear.
Fields of application
- Surfacing gear teeth, rails and shafts with higher hardness demands than HRF 250 MIG.
