Purpose

  • Basic-coated, medium-high hardness (330-380 HB) surfacing electrode for rail crossings, tensioner rollers, tracks, guides and drive sprockets.
  • The deposit is machinable after welding.

Why it works

Basic coating, one notch harder than HRF 300 — built for rolling and drive parts (tracks, rollers, sprockets) where abrasive wear is constant but the part still needs to be machined to size after welding.

Fields of application

  • Surfacing Mn-Cr-V-alloyed rail crossings.
  • Tensioner rollers, tracks, sliding guides and drive sprockets.

Replaces UTP DUR 350 (UTP)Direct replacement

Equivalence refers to the classification (AWS / EN ISO), not to product identity. In applications with a qualified procedure (WPS), validate the substitution before use.

Advantages

  • Machinable deposit.
  • Higher hardness than HRF 300 (330-380 HB) for rolling parts.
