Purpose
- Non-alloyed fluoride-basic submerged-arc (SAW) flux — hardfacing and cladding of ferritic stainless steel, paired with SUBCOR 41 NiMo-MH wire.
Why it works
Unlike an alloyed flux, this grade adds no alloying of its own — all the deposit's properties (hardness, corrosion resistance) come from the paired SUBCOR 41 NiMo-MH wire, so the flux's role is to shield and shape the bead, not to alloy it.
Fields of application
- Hardfacing/cladding of ferritic stainless steel (continuous-casting rollers and similar), with oscillation for wide-bead overlay, or joint welding.

Advantages
- Non-alloyed — deposit properties depend entirely and predictably on the paired wire.

Limitations
