Purpose
- Pure copper solid TIG rod (with deoxidizers) for joining pure copper alloys — porosity-free deposits.
Why it works
Deoxidizers in the alloy scavenge dissolved oxygen from the weld pool, preventing the porosity typical of copper welding — hence the supplier's note that it produces sound, porosity-free welds.
Fields of application
- Joining pure copper parts (DIN 2.0040, 2.0070, 2.0076, 2.0090, 2.1293 and equivalents).
