Purpose
- Pure copper covered electrode (Cu-WELD) for joining and surfacing copper and its alloys.
Why it works
Near-pure copper deposit — restores electrical/thermal conductivity and base-metal color on copper parts, where a different alloy filler would change those properties.
Fields of application
- Joining and surfacing pure copper parts and copper alloys.

Advantages
- Pure copper deposit — preserves conductivity and base-metal color.
- Covered electrode — no shielding gas needed.
- DC(+) or AC current.
Limitations
- No detailed chemistry/mechanical data in the supplier datasheet — see also the MIG variant (FERVEO CUP 100 MIG) for mechanical values.
