Classification

Purpose

  • Ar+CO₂-shielded rutile molybdenum flux-cored wire, low carbon (0.5% Mo, AWS E80T1-A1M, EN ISO T 46 2 Mo M M 3) — semi-automatic welding of low-alloy molybdenum steels, flat and horizontal-fillet position only.

Why it works

The same molybdenum base alloy as FERVEO CMO Mo R C FCW, with lower carbon and silicon, an Ar+CO₂ gas mix instead of pure CO₂, and a narrower position range (flat and horizontal fillet) — built for mechanized shop welding of plate and pipe, not for all-position work.

Fields of application

  • Mechanized shop welding of low-alloy molybdenum steel plate and pipe, flat or horizontal-fillet position.

Advantages

  • Certified cold toughness (tested at -20°C).
  • Low carbon and silicon — a cleaner deposit for precision mechanized welding.

Limitations

  • Flat and horizontal-fillet position only — unlike FERVEO CMO Mo R C FCW, which covers more positions.
  • Needs shielding-gas (Ar+CO₂ mix) equipment — not self-shielded.
