Purpose
- CO₂-shielded rutile molybdenum flux-cored wire, 0.5% Mo (AWS E81T1-A1C, EN ISO T 46 2 Mo R C 2) — semi-automatic welding of low-alloy molybdenum steels.
Why it works
The same molybdenum base alloy as the FERVEO CMO Mo family, in CO₂-shielded flux-cored wire format — higher productivity than a covered electrode for the same steel type.
Fields of application
- Semi-automatic welding of low-alloy heat-resistant molybdenum steels.

Equivalence refers to the classification (AWS / EN ISO), not to product identity. In applications with a qualified procedure (WPS), validate the substitution before use.
Advantages
- Semi-automatic flux-cored format — higher deposition productivity than a covered electrode.
- Certified cold toughness (tested at -20°C).
Limitations
- Needs shielding-gas (CO₂) equipment — not self-shielded.
- No manufacturer-specific application datasheet beyond the classification — verify against the qualified WPS.
