Purpose
- Solid Cr-Mo wire (9% Cr–1% Mo, EN ISO G/W CrMo 9 (Si)) — MIG/MAG welding of creep-resistant steels up to 600°C, for boilers, tanks, piping, reactors, and the oil industry.
Why it works
The higher chromium content (9%) steps up creep and hot-oxidation resistance versus the FERVEO CMO 5 family — the same alloying principle as the FERVEO CMO 9/9B electrodes, here in solid-wire form for MIG/MAG.

- Boilers, tanks, piping, reactors, and the oil industry, in creep-resistant steels up to 600°C.

Advantages
- Solid-wire format — mechanized/semi-automatic welding productivity and lower starting hydrogen than a covered electrode.
- Same Cr-Mo alloy grade (9Cr) as the FERVEO CMO 9/9B electrodes — consistent in-service behavior across processes.
