Purpose

  • Solid MIG rod with higher manganese and silicon content than FERVEO STL SG2, for carbon and low-alloy steel (AWS ER 70S-6, EN ISO G 46 4 M21 4Si1).

Why it works

Higher Mn-Si than FERVEO STL SG2 further improves weld-pool deoxidation and steps up mechanical strength, useful on parts with more surface oxide or where extra strength margin is wanted.

Fields of application

  • General carbon and low-alloy steel, MAG welding in all positions with CO2 or mixed gas, where extra strength or deoxidation margin is wanted.
