Purpose
- Solid MIG wire and TIG rod with higher nickel content than FERVEO STL NI1 MIG, for service down to -60°C (EN ISO 14341-A G2Ni2).
Why it works
More than double the nickel of FERVEO STL NI1 MIG extends the guaranteed service temperature down to -60°C, with a notably high impact-toughness value for a solid wire of this type.
Fields of application
- Joining cold-service steel down to -60°C, by MIG or TIG.

Advantages
- Guaranteed service down to -60°C — the coldest limit in the FERVEO STL ladder's solid-wire range.
- Notably high impact toughness for a solid wire of this type.
Limitations
- If -60°C service isn't needed, FERVEO STL NI1 MIG is sufficient and a lower alloy cost.
