Purpose

  • Molybdenum-alloyed metal-cored wire, for elevated-temperature service (AWS E80C-GMH4, EN ISO 17632-A T46 2 Mo MM 1 H5) — the only Mo-alloyed reference in the FERVEO STL ladder's general FCW range.

Why it works

Mo alloying, unusual in a general-purpose flux-cored wire, extends service into moderately elevated temperatures — the same alloying principle as the FERVEO CMO/SAW family, but in metal-cored form for carbon steel that isn't properly heat-resisting.

Fields of application

  • Carbon-steel fabrication with elevated-temperature service, up to around 550°C, in all positions.

Advantages

  • Elevated-temperature service (up to around 550°C), a niche not covered by the rest of the FERVEO STL ladder's general FCW range.
  • High yield, good operating behavior, no slag or spatter.

Limitations

  • For more demanding heat-resisting service (Cr-Mo grade P11/P22/P5/P91), see the FERVEO CMO ladder.
