Purpose

  • Cellulosic electrode for hot, filler and cap passes on high-strength pipeline, complementary to a dedicated cellulosic root electrode (AWS E 7010-P1, EN ISO E 42 3 C 21).

Why it works

Higher manganese content than FERVEO STL 420C2 aims this reference at hot, filler and cap passes on large-diameter, high-strength pipeline, leaving the root pass to a cellulosic electrode dedicated to that role.
