Purpose

  • Deep-penetration cellulosic electrode for large-diameter pipeline (AWS E 6010, EN ISO E 38 3 C 21) — the entry step of the FERVEO STL ladder's cellulosic family.

Why it works

The cellulosic coating produces a very deep-penetrating arc capable of fusing the root without excessive bevel prep — the pipeline industry's standard technique for vertical-down root passes.

Fields of application

  • Root pass and surfacing of large-diameter gas and oil pipelines, ships, tanks, boilers and steel structures; suited to sour-gas service (HIC test per NACE TM-0284).
