Purpose
- Ni-Mo alloyed, bare solid wire for submerged-arc welding (SAW), for high-strength fine-grained structural steel up to 690 N/mm2 (AWS EG, EN ISO S 3Ni1Mo).
Why it works
Outside the heat-resisting Cr-Mo line of the FERVEO SAW ladder, this reference brings the same kind of Ni-Mo alloying as the FERVEO HTS electrode family, in submerged-arc form for high-strength structural steel.
Fields of application
- Fine-grained structural steel with tensile strength up to 690 N/mm2, mechanized submerged-arc welding.

Advantages
- Covers high-strength structural steel duty in submerged-arc form, a gap the FERVEO SAW range's Cr-Mo ladder doesn't fill.
- Same Ni-Mo alloying principle as the equivalent-strength FERVEO HTS electrode family.
Limitations
- Without flux it isn't a complete consumable — pair with a FERVEO FLX flux matched to the mechanical strength needed.
