Classification

AWS classE 410 NiMo-15
EN ISO classE 13 4 B 42

Purpose

  • High-strength martensitic Cr-Ni-Mo 12.3/4.2/0.5 basic electrode (E 410 NiMo-15) — mechanically stronger than standard INX 410 (Rm 760 MPa vs 650–800 MPa).

Why it works

Extra nickel (4.2%) over the 410 base raises the toughness of the 13% Cr martensitic steel while keeping high mechanical strength — built for parts that demand more strength than plain 410.

Fields of application

  • X5CrNi 13 4 steel and its equivalent castings.
