Purpose

  • Stabilized Cr-Ni-Mo-Nb solid wire (19/12/2.6), for joining and surfacing corrosion-resistant austenitic stainless, tough at cryogenic temperature.

Why it works

The wire version of the 318 family — same niobium-stabilizing role as the electrode, service from -120°C to +400°C, on the same DIN 1.4401/1.4404/1.4571/1.4573/1.4580/1.4581/1.4583 steels (AISI 316/316L/316Ti).
