Purpose

  • Rutile-basic Cr-Ni-Mo 25/21/2.8 electrode, fully austenitic corrosion-resistant deposit, better hot creep behavior than INX 310.

Why it works

Molybdenum (2.8%) improves high-temperature creep properties over the 310 base — built for austenitic steels, Cr-Mo steels and coated stainless steel types AISI 316/316L/317.

Fields of application

  • Austenitic steels and Cr-Mo steels.
  • Coated stainless steel types AISI 316, 316L and 317, and clad steels.
