Purpose
- Special Cr-Ni-Si-N (21/10) wire/rod designed for welding Outokumpu 253 MA-type heat-resistant steel — scaling-resistant to 1150°C in air.
Why it works
Corrosion resistance is excellent AT HIGH TEMPERATURE, but the manufacturer warns it is NOT intended for wet corrosion — a specialized grade for hot air service, not aqueous environments.

- DIN 1.4818, 1.4835 (253 MA-type heat-resistant steel).

Advantages
- Scaling-resistant to 1150°C in air.

Limitations
