Purpose
- Cr-Ni-Mo 16/8.5/1.3 basic electrode (E 16 8 2-15), specifically for high-pressure, high-temperature piping in 16-8-2, 316 and 347 steel.
Why it works
Chemical composition and ferrite number are held below 5 FN — that tight control is what gives good creep, oxidation and general corrosion resistance, exactly what high-pressure high-temperature piping systems demand.
Fields of application
- High-pressure, high-temperature piping in 16-8-2, 316 and 347 steel.
