Classification

EN ISO classT 55 3 T1-1CA-NCC1

Purpose

  • Ni-Cr-Cu alloyed rutile flux-cored wire for weather-exposed structural steel of the COR-TEN type (AWS E 81 T1-W2 C, EN ISO T 55 3 T1-1CA-NCC1).

Why it works

Brings the same Ni-Cr-Cu alloying logic as the FERVEO HTS COR-TEN electrode sub-family (420B3/460B6 NiCrCu), here in flux-cored wire form for semi-automatic MAG welding, with good puddle control and good behavior in all positions.

Fields of application

  • Weathering-steel structures (COR-TEN, EN/ASTM equivalents) welded by mechanized or manual MAG, including welding on ceramic backing.

Equivalence refers to the classification (AWS / EN ISO), not to product identity. In applications with a qualified procedure (WPS), validate the substitution before use.

Advantages

  • Ni-Cr-Cu alloy matches weathering steel's corrosion behavior, same as the equivalent electrode sub-family.
  • Good puddle control and all-position weldability, with low spatter and easy slag removal.

Limitations

  • For the same alloy family in covered-electrode form, see FERVEO HTS 420B3 / 460B6 NiCrCu.
