Purpose
- Metal-cored wire (metallic core, not flux) built for automated welding (AWS E 80 C Ni 1, EN ISO T 50 4 M M 3) — a different process variant from the rest of the FERVEO HTS FCW range.
Why it works
The metal core (versus the rutile flux used across the rest of the FCW range) gives a soft arc with deep penetration and very little slag, the combination preferred in high-cadence automated welding where inter-pass cleaning cuts into throughput.
Fields of application
- Automated butt and fillet welding in high-cadence production, with M21 gas shielding (Ar-CO2 mix).

Advantages
- Metal core — soft arc, deep penetration and virtually no slag to clean between passes, ideal for automation.
- Good bead finish, suited to applications where surface appearance matters.
Limitations
- Restricted to flat and horizontal-fillet position — for manual welding in all positions, use the rutile range (FERVEO HTS 460/550/620/690 FCW).
