Purpose
- Slag-free metal-powder flux-cored wire, 65–67 HRC — the hardest in the range — preferably run without gas.
Why it works
A high-alloy, slag-free wire whose deposit resembles hard-chrome alloys. Preferred without shielding gas, though CO2 and Ar-CO2 mix are possible. Excellent against sand and mineral abrasion. Stringer-bead technique recommended.
Fields of application
- Repair of mining and steel-mill equipment.
- Hardfacing of construction and agricultural equipment, road-building machinery, conveyor chains, mixing paddles, cement-pump components.

Equivalence refers to the classification (AWS / EN ISO), not to product identity. In applications with a qualified procedure (WPS), validate the substitution before use.
Base metals
Repair of equipment used in mining and steel mills; hardfacing equipment and tools for construction and agriculture, highway construction equipment, conveyor chains, mixing paddles, cement pump components
Advantages
- 65–67 HRC — hardest in the HRF range.
- Slag-free — preferably without gas (CO2/Ar-CO2 possible).
- Excellent against sand and minerals.
Limitations
- Machinable only by grinding.
- Shows check cracks that do not impair wear resistance.
- Stringer-bead technique recommended.
