Purpose
- Self-shielded flux-cored wire with titanium carbides, martensitic, 52–57 HRC, for extreme wear under pressure.
Why it works
Deposits C, Cr, Ti and Mo: the martensitic microstructure with titanium carbide combines high hardness with impact resistance, ideal where wear comes with high pressure. Open arc, no gas.
Fields of application
- Roller presses, grinding/pulverising rolls, dredge-pump shells.
- Rock-crushing hammers, shredders, kneaders, vertical-shaft impact-crusher rotors, asphalt.

Equivalence refers to the classification (AWS / EN ISO), not to product identity. In applications with a qualified procedure (WPS), validate the substitution before use.
Base metals
Roller presses, grinding/pulverizing rolls, dredge pump shells, rock crushing hammers, shredders, asphalt, kneaders, crushing hard materials, vertical shaft impact crusher rotors
Advantages
- Titanium carbide — wear and impact resistance together.
- No gas needed — open arc.
- Best for extreme wear under high pressure.
Limitations
- Machinable only by grinding.
