Purpose
- High-hardness electrode (56-60 HRC) for repairing cutting and machining tools: drill bits, press dies and supports.
- Also for excavation parts under heavy abrasion.
Why it works
High molybdenum and cobalt content (7% Mo, 2% Co) together with vanadium gives a deposit with very high edge- and friction-wear resistance — the type of alloy used in high-speed tool steels, applied here as a surfacing overlay.
Fields of application
- Repairing cutting and machining tools, drill bits.
- Press dies and supports.
- Excavation parts under heavy abrasion.

Equivalence refers to the classification (AWS / EN ISO), not to product identity. In applications with a qualified procedure (WPS), validate the substitution before use.
Advantages
- High friction and wear resistance (56-60 HRC).
- Weldable on DC+ or AC.
