Purpose
- High-hardness hardfacing electrode (50 HRC) for guide rollers, rope pulleys and bucket lugs in mining and agricultural equipment.
- Built for continuous friction and wear resistance.
Why it works
Chromium jumps to ≈5.5% versus HRF 400's 2.0% — hence the jump to 50 HRC, the highest hardness in the whole 250-400 series — formulated for constant-friction surfaces (pulleys, guide rollers) rather than impact: the deposit withstands sustained rubbing without losing its profile.
Fields of application
- Hardfacing of guide rollers and rope pulleys.
- Bucket lugs in mining, agricultural and forestry equipment.

Advantages
- High hardness (50 HRC) against continuous friction.
- Moderate pre-heat (~200°C depending on base thickness).
Limitations
- Pre-heat according to base material (guideline 200°C).
