Purpose
- Aluminate-basic submerged-arc (SAW) flux, basicity 1.1 — single-pass welding of spiral pipe (up to X52 grade), LPG cylinders, and general construction steel.
Why it works
The intermediate basicity gives a bead profile closer to a rutile-type flux than the family's more basic grades, despite classing as basic — a practical middle ground between FERVEO FLX BAR's ease of use and the higher-basicity grades' toughness.
Fields of application
- Spiral-welded pipe up to X52 grade, LPG cylinders, general construction, boiler, and shipbuilding steel.

Advantages
- Bead profile close to a rutile flux despite being basic-type.
- Easily removable slag.
Limitations
- Intermediate basicity — for higher low-temperature toughness, the more basic grades (FERVEO FLX BFB and up) perform better.
