Purpose
- Aluminate-basic submerged-arc (SAW) flux, basicity 1.6 — single- and multi-pass welding of general-purpose construction steel.
Why it works
Higher basicity than the rutile FERVEO FLX BAR gives more consistent toughness across multiple passes, while keeping the slag easy to remove.

Advantages

Limitations
- A general-purpose grade — for pipe manufacturing, pressure vessels, or heat-resistant steel, the family's specialized grades (FERVEO FLX PIPE, BFPP/BFPV, BFB) are the better choice.
